Experience Meets Passion

With over 28 years of experience in residential and commercial construction, Unger Custom Homes LLC. Lead by Trent Unger, has the skill set, experience, and knowledge to bring your build to life. Trent, began working with his father building cabinets, tree forts, and green houses, around the house. Later, he worked with his Grandfather building various pole barns at the Ranch. He worked as a trim carpenter on various custom builds and transitioned to painting custom homes for a contractor out of New Braunfels to be able to attend Texas State University, where he later Graduated with a Major in Economics.

Finding the job market scarce, he started his own paint contracting company and did many notable projects in New Braunfels. Such as Scores Sports Bar, Seekatz Opera House, The Downtown Antique Mall, The Landa Professional Building, and high end custom homes in River Forrest. While working with various contractors throughout the building process, he gained knowledge and experience where he transitioned into a building & remodeling company. UCH, has built a number of custom homes, commercial finish outs, and remodeled a number of kitchens and bathrooms, performed demolition services, and gutted duplex’s to the frame and rebuilt them. Trent has always had an eye for Architecture and took drafting in high school and now can produce working plans using Chief Architect. Trent has had a long relationship with a number of sub-contractors and builders in and around Comal County. He spends his spare time down in Port Mansfield, fishing the Laguna Madre.
